That Model Railway Guy - in collaboration with World Of Railways & BRM Magazine!

I’ve got some exciting news to share today - something a little different, and a big step forward for the channel.

As some of you already know, over the past few months I’ve been working behind the scenes on a brand-new layout build series… and I’m thrilled to finally announce that this project is being produced in collaboration with World Of Railways and BRM (British Railway Modelling) Magazine.

This is a huge opportunity for me and for the channel. BRM is one of the biggest and most respected modelling magazines in the hobby, and World Of Railways is a well-known hub for railway modellers and enthusiasts across the UK and beyond.

To be working alongside such an established name in the community is incredibly exciting and honestly is something I never imagined when I first started creating videos.

World Of Railways and BRM are very much the driving force behind this new series. Without giving too much away, this layout build is a bit different to my previous projects and having the support of World Of Railways and BRM means we can get you - the audience - involved in a big way.

Before the miniature pitchforks come out though, what does this mean for my YouTube channel? Well don’t worry, I’m not going anywhere. YouTube is still my home, and that’s not changing.

What is changing slightly is how this particular series will be released. Episodes will be available first through World Of Railways and BRM Magazine, before making their way onto YouTube at a later date. So if you want to see the series as early as possible, you’ll be able to catch it through their online platforms and as part of the magazine. But it will still come to the channel eventually.

Additionally, the team at World Of Railways and BRM have given me a lot of freedom with the series. While we had a basic premise to work from, they’ve been very hands off with how I make the videos. For the most part you can expect exactly the same type of content as you’ve become used to with my regular videos.

I really appreciate the amount of trust they’ve placed in me, letting me do what I do best by making video content in my own way. Equally I trust them to do what they do best by helping the series reach a much wider audience.

This is just the beginning and there’s plenty more to come. We haven’t even properly revealed the project itself yet and the most exciting part is still to be announced. The full trailer should be dropping soon and if you like practical projects… well this will be right up your street.

For now though, I just wanted to share this milestone and say how excited I am to be working with World Of Railways and BRM on this project. Stay tuned - the full reveal is coming soon.

Oh… and Happy Easter! 🥚
