Rapido PORT OF PAR Bagnall - 00 Gauge Model Railway Review
Share
Rapido have been on a roll lately and their latest release is one of their biggest yet... or rather their smallest! The titchy Port Of Par Bagnalls may be smaller than a wagon but Rapido have set out to prove that size doesn't matter... at least when it comes to model railways at least.
Featuring a built in speaker and stay alive capacitors, this tiny 0-4-0 tank engine should be perfect for shunting at slow speeds round small industrial layouts. Meanwhile the fetching yellow livery might remind certain viewers of Bill & Ben from Thomas The Tank Engine & Friends.
It certainly catches the eye but does the bagnall have the detail to match? I don't hold back in this review as I give the Port Of Par Bagnall a thorough test on the layout, shunting it at slow speeds over small points. Will the loco stall or have Rapido knocked it out of the park again?
