Introducing: The Build-Along Model Railway!

Today marks the launch of an exciting new project  - The Build-Along Model Railway, a brand new 4-part video series produced by That Model Railway Guy in collaboration with World Of Railways and BRM Magazine.

The series is designed to guide viewers through every step needed to build their very own model railway from start to finish, making it perfect for beginners as well as anyone looking for a fun and manageable new project.

The layout featured in the series is a compact 6ft x 1ft industrial shunting layout, designed to work perfectly as a standalone model railway while also offering plenty of scope for expansion into a larger scene later on.

Episode 1 is available with the May issue of BRM Magazine and can also be viewed online via World Of Railways from 17th April. The episodes will also be released on YouTube at a later date for everyone to enjoy.

Throughout the series, viewers will be shown the complete process of building the layout, covering everything from the baseboards and track through to scenery and detailing. Many of the products and materials used in the build will also be available from the World Of Railways online shop, making it easy to follow along at home.

We’re incredibly excited to finally share this project and hope it inspires more people to have a go at building their own model railway.
