Bachmann Announce 2 Brand New Models!

Bachmann Announce 2 Brand New Models!

Ahead of the The Greatest Gathering event this weekend to celebrate Railway 200, Bachmann have announced two brand new models - one in N Gauge and another in 00.

Starting off with N Gauge, newly announced is the NER P7 & LNER D12 Coal Hopper Wagons for the Graham Farish range. The precision moulded wagons with metal handrails feature tooling variations allow for both the long and short wooden end pillars and single or double axle guards.

A wide range of liveries covering everything from NER right up to private ownership with NCB will be on offer with the decorated examples expected to be unveiled as part of Bachmann's main set of announcements on 6th August.

The P7 and D12 wagons are expected to arrive in Early 2026 with an RRP of £25.45 each.

Next up, for 00 Gauge Bachmann have finally announced a brand new steam locomotive - the NER E Class!

Having previously released the E1/J72, this locomotive models the predecessor to the class. While at first glance it may look similar to the E1/J72, Bachmann's model is made up of entirely new tooling and features a diecast metal running plate, built in speaker and firebox LED.

This model is sure to be popular with North Eastern modellers, especially those who already have the E1 and G5 models from Bachmann. 3 liveries are on offer covering the NER, LNER and BR periods with DCC Ready starting at £135.95 and DCC Sound Fitted versions starting at £229.45

As previously mentioned, this weekend Alstom are hosting The Greatest Gathering and with several model manufacturers in attendance I would image we'll see a few more announcements to tie in with the event.
